So after a lovely but busy and I guess you could say a little tiring 3 weeks with my favs, it was time for us to once again say our goodbyes for another 6 months! We weren't flying out from Sydney until the afternoon which meant we had one more morning to spend together.
We still had a few souvenirs to buy, so after we got up, we headed back to Paddy's market to spend a little more money. We weren't there for long, especially because we had to be back to check out at 11. Once we had checked out we headed to Westfields and the main shopping street to kill some time and grab some lunch before heading to the airport.
I don't think any of us were really looking forward to heading to the airport knowing that the dreaded goodbye was once again coming and I think for dad, knowing the fact he was heading back to England and very crappy weather! We caught the train out of the city to the airport and it was that awkward anticipation of knowing what was to come. My stop was first so we all got off and within seconds mum, bless her, had a little break down, which then set off dad and made me tear up! It was horrible once again saying bye to them but I know it is only 6 months and we will once again be reunited.
I felt a little down and teary after leaving them, but had the memories of the last 3 weeks to cheer me up.
An hour flight and 20 minute skybus trip later, I was back in central Melbourne and heading to see Hannah in closing night of Joseph! Once again it was awesome and I really enjoyed it and it gave me something to keep my mind off mum and dad leaving.
