Around 6 o'clock in the evening after an hour taxi drive, I arrived at the Reggae Mansion hostel which seems to be really nice, lively and friendly. I checked in and lugged my stuff up to flights of stairs to my 16 person mixed dorm room of which I was thankful to have a bottom bunk, or little personal box as I would call it, with a curtain at the end of my bed.

Straight away I met Sam who was staying in my room and had also arrived early today so we went to Chinatown to grab something to eat (noodles, surprise surprise) before we came back to the hostel and headed up to the lively rooftop bar for a drink. The bar had an amazing view of the Petronas Twin Towers and KL tower.

It wasn't long before we started to socialise and meet more people. One girl Amy encouraged me to put on a bikini top to get 3 free drinks and only staying for 1 drink because we were "too tired" turned into staying up there until gone 2!

I can say I really enjoyed the first night of my travels at the Reggae Mansion and even made plans with Amy, Sam, Margaux and Michael to head to the Batu caves tomorrow. I love travelling!
