Kuala Lumpar Day 3 - Sunday 21st July 2013

It was safe to say we woke up struggling this morning and feeling a bit rough following last nights antics, so an easy day was definitely in store!

After breakfast me, Amy and Jem headed to Central Market for a wander. I didn't buy anything except some good fake ray bans because not only did I have no room in my case and was already at my luggage limit on the way out, let alone adding more to it but was too hungover to even look properly. After a couple of hours and some food we headed back to the hostel for a well needed nap!

In the afternoon feeling a little bit fresher me, Amy and Andy headed to Chinatown to walk around the market. There was so much fake stuff in there which was so cheap too and could easily have been haggled but we didn't buy anything. The only thing on our minds was food to kill the hangover, which didn't come in the form of noodles or rice, so what did we find ..... NANDOS!

When we got back to the hostel me and Andy headed up to the rooftop bar for a hair of the dog and then met Amy and some others in the bar so they could plan the next part of their trip (they were heading up to the Cameron Highlands to trek and then to the Perhentian islands - paradise, I wished I was tagging along, especially as the Perhentians sounded so good).

Once they had made all their arrangements we jumped in a cab to the city to see the Petronas Towers all lit up, because as Andy said "you can't come to KL and not take a picture of the towers, it's like going to Paris and not taking a picture of the Eiffel Tower!". It was definitely worth the trip because they looked beautiful all lit up and we were very touristy taking many pictures!

We finished the night (and our last night together) like most others on the rooftop bar admiring the view and chilled out lifestyle, until 3 am when we were kicked off. Bed time I think. Night!!!
